Job Description:

R3 Safety has an opening for a Marketing Intern to fill a 10-week program. The intern will work with our internal marketing department reporting directly to our two marketing managers and up into the director of marketing. They will work with the management team, our marketing team, sales, and our supply chain team to learn and participate in a variety of marketing projects. Projects would consist of traditional print marketing, PIM data enrichment, and e commerce.Responsibilities:

• Familiarization with R3 Safety process and systems
• Learn both our digital and print marketing
• Spend time with our marketing team learning various responsibilities
• Work with marketing mentor (assigned during the program) to assist in development
• Help to create one of our monthly print marketing pieces
• Work on a PIM data project to assist in updating product attributes for our new website
• Assist in data review from competitive pricing programs to evaluate website pricing
• Become proficient in the AS400 system
• Become familiar with different divisions of R3 Safety, including but not limited to, Customer Service, Purchasing, Data Analytics, Category Management, and Warehouse.
• Intern will be assigned a marketing project to research, study, prepare, and report out to upper management during the 10th week of the program.

  • High School diploma or equivalent, and pursuing a Bachelor's degree
  • Must possess strong planning, organizational and time management skills, as well as strong problem solving skills
  • A proven ability to organize, prioritize, and successfully manage multiple and shifting priorities, projects, and deadlines
  • Proven self-starter with strong work ethic, self-motivated, resourceful, conscientious, punctual and energetic
  • A professional phone manner and ability to interact professionally with staff
