Position SummaryThe Packaging Estimator seeks to understand the
customer's need; defines the required service; research and develop
the best engineered cost solution ensuring we meet our customer's

engineering specifications for production usage and cost
modelingSupport cross-functional teams to manage and prioritize
staffing assignments to ensure customer demand and the production
schedules are metCollaborates with Sales Operations and Production
Management to research ideas for line improvements to ensure we
stay competitiveAll other duties as assigned, including but not
limited to the identification and training of an individual capable
of successfully completing all stated Key Responsibilities as
appropriate to maintain integrity of position for progression
planning and coverage during times of absenceQualityMeasure,
monitor, report, and account for applicable site KPI'sAnalyze
customer-provided comprehensive packaging assembly specifications
to generate Cost Models and present to the Production Floor with
supportCollects and analyzes production line setups and performance
data to create Engineered Line Drawings (ELDs) to improve
Crescent's competitivenessCollaborates with Operations Finance and
Sales Operations to stay abreast of Crescent and Customer sourcing
strategiesCustomer ValueBuilds trust with our customer,
establishing a strong and open relationship in which the customer
is a stake holder in our long-term successBuilds a trusting
relationship with Sales and Site Operations to facilitate the
necessary discussions to ensure areas of improvement are
understoodDrives Continuous Improvement by analyzing packaging
handling/assembly steps and step time requirements to ensure a cost
competitive solutionActively investigates and engages
vendors/suppliers to develop value-added
