These include:Trustworthy - We strive for our actions to match our words in all our relationships.Servant - Hearted - We enable and empower our team to serve the needs of customers, Team members, suppliers and the community.Relational - We aim to build healthy relationships while fostering and environment that promotes compassion, balance, and personal and professional growth.Resourceful - We value strategic insourcing, first looking to create solutions internally, and then looking to apply that knowledge to future opportunities.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:Works with the transfer process with regard to unloading and loading trailers, put away, scanning, layout compliance, wrapping, stacking, collecting damaged product, labeling, and other related activities as they pertain to finished and unfinished inventory.SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITY:Assist in performing the shipping and receiving operation in a consistent manner as instructed in the training program.Responsible to maintain the procedures concerning operation unless the training program is changed, and properly recorded concerning procedureLoad and unload all trailers, seeing that they are first properly locked and chockedVerify all pallets for labeling and count issues, any receiving discrepancies found should be fixed or held for the Warehouse Supervisor Restack pallets that have fallen in the warehouse and in the transfer processOperate material handling equipment in a safe and efficient mannerReport any mechanical problems with your equipment or any safety hazards relating to the performance of your dutiesFollow all instructions that are issued and notify the Warehouse Supervisor if you have any problems that would result in lost production timeUnload all deliveries or shipments from outside vendors. Inspect quality, quantity, and condition of all shipments, and record on paperworkAdjust to and follow new procedures and innovations, which would add to the efficiency and safety of the operationPerform daily forklift checklist and routine maintenance on equipment including cleaning equipment Maintain order in the warehouse storage areas in the performance of your dutiesAllow only one partial pallet per item and store all like items in the same aisle or adjoining aislesBe a Certified Forklift operator, and carry a copy of your certification with youEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must have basic computer skills and possess ability to utilize software.LANGUAGE SKILLS:Must have the ability to read and understand documents, letters, etc. and write legibly in English. Must be able to understand and speak clearly, communicate, and understand directions in English as needed.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide both fractions and decimals, solve equations, read a tape measure, and have an understanding of both standard and metric measuring systems.CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Must become a Certified powered industrial equipment operator in accordance with SCT training and carry a copy of your certification with you.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job, regularly required to walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with arms and hands. Frequently required to climb, balance, twist, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, frequently must lift/move 25 to 50 pounds. Must be able to perform these functions for a minimum of 8 hours straight (with a 30-minute meal break any other applicable breaks during his/her shift) on a regular basis. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team member successfully performing the essential functions of this job.
