Summary:Introducing Nestl-- Purina's new Williamsburg Township,
Ohio, factory - just 30 miles east of Cincinnati. This world-class
factory will be built from the ground up to produce a wide variety
of some of the most trusted and beloved pet care brands in the U.S.

chapter of Purina's history.As a Controls Technical Specialist II,
you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and
enhancing the accuracy, reliability and system controls data
credibility of PLC and PC-based automation systems. In this role,
you will oversee PLC upgrades and wiring modifications on
production equipment and work directly with our maintenance team to
troubleshoot and support production line modifications.The first
few months of this role will be project-related with the goal of
planning and developing the department as we approach operational
startup, working a Monday-Friday 8am-4pm schedule. This position
will require up to 10% travel to other Nestl-- Purina operating
facilities within the U.S. for training purposes. Once the
Williamsburg Township factory reaches operation, the shift for this
position will be 6am-6pm, operating on 2-2-3 schedule model (Week
1: two days on, two days off, three days on; Week 2: two days off,
two days on, three days off).Primary ResponsibilitiesConfigure,
program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)Perform
Preventive Maintenance for controls and organize electrical/control
parts inventoryProvide programming and electrical support on plant
capital projectsImplement control systems software upgradeProvide
instrumentation, PLC, HMI/SCADA and Ignition software and hardware
support to plant maintenance staffRequirementsHigh School Diploma
or equivalent required4+ years' experience in PLC software and
hardware troubleshooting and/or PLC-based HMI-systemORAssociate's
Degree in a technical discipline3+ years' applicable experience in
PLC software and hardware troubleshooting and/or PC-based HMI
systemsOtherMust be willing to travel up to 10% for training
purposes to other Nestl-- Purina factory locations within the

approximate pay range for this position is $74,000 to $103,000.

for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may
vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge,
