Start your journey with us The Cincinnati Insurance Companies are currently looking for students who seek to gain a meaningful work experience with us as an IT Desktop Support Intern for the Spring 2024. Interns perform duties in their respective departments as we provide you with a challenging experience. Learn more about our company and develop your professional skills by:

• participating in an introductory insurance class
• learning about various business departments and IT service areas
• signing up for optional learning development tracks
• interacting with associates and management
• participating in group and individual research projects as assigned
• learning new development tools and technical stacks with hands on development projects
  Starting Rate of Pay: $18.00/hr+ based on previous education and experience Internship/Co-op work location: Onsite at our headquarters located in Fairfield, Ohio. This is located 20 minutes from downtown Cincinnati. Responsibilities:
  • perform essential software installs and uninstalls
  • perform new system imaging and configuration
  • build, configure and install Windows desktops and laptops
  • track and update open calls and escalate situations as necessary
  • assist in creating documentation for installing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • complete assigned projects on time and provide status reports to management
  • install hardware and software, including operating system and office applications
  • perform required quality assurance tests
  • work with customers, set appointments, maintain schedules and other documentation

    Be equipped with: experience installing hardware and software effective communication and customer service skills experience with Windows 10 and Office 365 suite of products including Excel, Word, Access and Outlook working knowledge of networks and network terminology repair skills for PCs and peripherals must be a self-starter the ability to work in a team environment
    You are:
    • full-time undergraduate student currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university
    • able to furnish collegiate transcripts with initial submission of candidate profile
    • in good academic standing (cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher preferred)
    • able to communicate effectively at all levels
    • service-minded, team-oriented, driven, and passionate about information technology
    • proficient in Microsoft Office software and tools
      Candidates should have the ability to work in the United States for an unlimited amount of time.
