Description: The Sr. Manager - Fill / Finish Ops is responsible for
helping the department achieve goals and objectives. This position
will provide leadership on night shift for a 24 / 7 operation. Key
Objectives / Deliverables: Responsible for maintaining a safe work
environment, leading safety initiatives, and working safely and
accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals. Safety
- Ensures that all work unit members are knowledgeable and
compliant regarding safety procedures, policies, permits and
practices. Initiates and leads accident, near miss reviews, and
incident notifications. Ensures proper housekeeping procedures are
maintained. Quality - Responsible for operations and meeting the
quality standards as defined by cGMPs, the Global Quality
Standards, local procedures, and manufacturing tickets. Manage
People Effectively - Responsible for managing daily operations
across the two night shifts up to 7 days a week, including
attendance, overtime, operational issues, performance management,
development planning, and reporting of results. Some flexibility in
work schedule will be required. Maintaining Operations - The leader
is responsible for execution of activities on night shift to help
the area with meeting the daily schedule / monthly production plan
and keeping department leadership informed of issues. Coordination
with maintenance, engineering, automation, validation, and
technical services on projects is critical to success. Operational
Excellence - A commitment to continuous improvement through data
collection, evaluation, and prompt and effective implementation by
the operations personnel and the process team is expected. The
leader is expected to learn and utilize the Lilly provided tools
associated with Six Sigma, C4I, OSSCE, and CAPA to achieve
continuous improvement. Other - Function as the leader of the
Process Team and as a back - up to the Team Leaders when necessary.
The leader may also lead the local area safety team. Basic
Requirements: Bachelors’ Degree is a must, preferably in
Engineering or science related field. Minimum 2-5 years of
experience in manufacturing; pharma/aseptic manufacturing a plus.
Additional Preferences: Knowledgeable of Parenteral Operations and
processes. Previous experience in directly leading personnel.
Experienced in a volume constrained manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both written and
verbally multi - level within the organization. Demonstrated
ability to provide coaching and feedback. Demonstrated ability to
prioritize, set objectives and meet targets. Demonstrated ability
to provide high - level customer service. Demonstrated ability to
work without close supervision. Responsible for maintaining a safe
work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all
HSE Corporate and Site Goals. Other Information: Position supports
night shift in a 24 / 7 operation and is expected to be flexible in
maintaining availability for support in decision making and issue
resolution as necessary to operate the facility (night shift role
M-F with on call on weekends) Some allergens are present in the

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $96,000 -
$140,800 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
