You will operate within an established route to deliver goods safely and efficiently, ensuring the satisfaction of our diverse clientele. We provide our drivers with up-to-date technology and well-maintained vehicles, supporting your ability to meet and exceed our rigorous standards for safety and timeliness. Safely transport products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner. Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines established by the Department of Transportation and the company. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, mileage, and locations using electronic or manual logging systems. Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure the vehicle is safe and operational and report any mechanical issues. Collaborate with dispatch and logistics teams to optimize routes and resolve any issues that arise during the transit. Provide excellent customer service, maintaining professionalism during each interaction. Proficiency in handling heavy-duty trucks Knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELDs) Strong organizational and time management skills Good physical condition and stamina required for long drives and possible manual loading/unloading of cargo Ability to navigate efficiently and read maps Effective communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) A clean driving record DOT physical examination certification
