Job Description:

Meijer, a leader in the supercenter industry since 1934, seeks a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee warehouse activities at one of our dynamic Midwest distribution centers. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, ensuring that groceries, apparel, electronics, and home goods are adequately stocked and distributed to our network of over 240 stores. As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will manage a team dedicated to achieving operational excellence, refining process strategies, and fostering a safe working environment in line with our organizational goals. Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure compliance with all safety procedures. Direct the activities of warehouse personnel to achieve prescribed objectives, including timely shipping and receiving of goods. Develop and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling and storage of merchandise. Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, presenting findings to senior management. Lead, train, and develop staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
