Starting pay for Machine Repair position is $34.48 -per hour and will receive contractual increases as outlined in the contract. - -This role may be called one of the following at another company: Technician, Mechanic, Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance & Repair, Maintainer.

Crown currently has -openings for -Machine Repair technicians at -our Dayton, OH facility. -Here is your opportunity to help on the -Dayton -team that -manufactures millions of beverage can ends per day. The Machine Repair duties include:

• 
  
• Responsible for the mechanical performance of line and standard production output
  
• Diagnoses or troubleshoots machines or equipment to determine malfunctions and the need for adjustment or repair.
  
• Performs mechanical repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment. -
  
• Lubricates and cleans parts, installs, moves, sets-up and operates all types of equipment and machine tools. -
  
• Performs any dismantling, fitting or assembly work required for maintenance.
  
• Reads blue prints, sketches, machine parts or specifications to determine type and dimensions of stock required.
  
  Safety oriented.
  
  3+ -years experience as maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
  
  Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
  
  Must be experienced in maintenance and repair of production machines and equipment. -
  
  Must be available to work 12 hour shifts. -
  
  Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.
