Start your journey with us The Payroll department is currently seeking a payroll specialist to perform payroll and administrative duties to support the Payroll department. This position will report directly to the senior accounting manager and process payroll preparations for more than 5,700 associates. Salary- $39,000 - $50,000; depending on knowledge and skills Be Ready To: prepare bi-weekly payroll processing - including balancing time cards, payroll changes, run reports and organize information from other departments process and balance bi-weekly pay complete garnishment process - respond to agencies, correspondence with associates, create file, mail checks and PeopleSoft garnishment set up distribute final payroll reports and payments to vendors and other departments conduct weekly data audits, resolve payroll issues and correct errors accordingly run reports to support business needs run reports, create deduction files and audit payroll registers take on special projects as requested ensure compliance with internal pay policies and practices answer associates payroll questions and facilitate timely resolutions to discrepancies accurately process detail-oriented work work overtime as needed Be Equipped With: the ability to efficiently organize workload and adapt quickly to change self-motivated strong work ethic and team player the ability to work independently and proactively in a time sensitive environment while using good judgment strong attention to detail and confident decision making skills the ability to maintain strict confidentiality proficient in Microsoft Excel high degree of professionalism with all levels of associates strong verbal and written communication skills strong decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills in-house payroll experience for large corporation Preferred requirements: certified Payroll Professional designation or Fundamental Payroll Certification associate's degree in accounting knowledge of PeopleSoft HR knowledge and application of ADP withholding tax processing Enjoy benefits and amenities Your commitment to providing strong service, sharing best practices and creating solutions that impact lives is appreciated.
