Start your journey with us The CIC Talent Acquisition team is seeking an experienced University Relations recruiter to lead and evolve our campus recruiting programs, strategies, and hiring efforts. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will have the opportunity to be the subject matter expert, to provide guidance to the business and other TA team members regarding recruiting and hiring efforts on campus. As the University Relations Recruiter, you will build and nurture our relationships with our partner universities as well as being the CIC brand champion on campus. Be Ready To: - Lead the intern hiring program for the company. Promote the program and gather intern requests from the departments. Execute on the full hiring process, including selecting candidates, interviewing, making offers, and onboarding. Gather feedback on interns and ensure offers are made to convert interns to full time hires. - Develop the annual summer intern programming from planning stages through execution. Ensure that interns have a great learning experience, reflective of CIC values and culture. - Track and report on all intern program metrics and results, including conversions to full time hires. - Act as the subject matter expert for the business and recruiting team on the University Relations process. - Own the relationship with each of our current partner universities. o Identify and manage each of the events that we participate in, ensuring a consistent and positive experience for all participants. Attend events and coordinate with the recruiters and business to ensure appropriate staffing levels for events. o Build relationships with university career placement offices, leaders, and professors to champion the CIC brand on campus. Work with the business and other members of the recruiting team to identify CIC associates who would be interested in being part of our campus hiring efforts. o Track and manage the university relations budget in partnership with the TA manager. - Continue to refine our university relations strategy; developing innovative and creative methods to attract highly qualified students to the company. - Acting as the primary point of contact for managing relationships with university candidates. Promote these candidates with hiring managers in the appropriate departments for internships or entry level roles. - Continue to expand our campus diversity strategy to build a more robust pipeline of diverse students for our internships and entry level hiring. Be Equipped With: - University recruiting experience required, 3+ years strongly preferred - 5+ years of recruiting experience required - Experience with the insurance industry strongly preferred. CIC experience a plus. - A strong sense of urgency. Able to be self-directed, work independently, and accountable to goals. - Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize. - A collaborative approach to problem solving and the desire to be part of a team-oriented culture. - Well-developed interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability and passion to engage with others authentically, establish trust and build long-lasting relationships. - Strong leadership skills coupled with a customer service orientation. Able to provide support and guidance to the team, business partners and candidates. - Strategic and creative thinking skills along with the ability to use sound judgement. Able to analyze and use data to drive decisions and build actions plans. - Well-developed HR and business acumen.
