Job Title: Special Procedures Technologist Profession: Special Procedures Technologist Specialty: Special Procedures Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience License: State Radiology Technologist License Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS, KY license, IR experience Must-Have: PICC/Central Line management, Procedural sedation Description: Shift is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. On-call duty is required one night per week from 3:30 PM to 6:00 AM and every 4th weekend from Friday 3:30 PM to Monday 6:00 AM. The position requires certification in ARRT (V) and a State Radiology Technologist License. The ideal candidate will have experience in interventional radiology procedures. Common procedures performed in this role include Port Placements, PICC lines, G tubes, Nephrostomy/Biliary Tubes, Kyphoplasty, and Theraspheres. Familiarity with commonly used equipment such as Philips and Siemens is necessary. Certifications required include BLS and Kentucky State Clienttion Operator License. Scrubs are provided for the position; OR scrubs are typically worn.
