OB/GYN Hospitalist Physician Locums Job in Ohio Weekend In-House Call Schedule Beginning June 26 - Ongoing Assignment

Coverage Details
Possibility of June coverage
July 17 - July 19

Shift Description
Friday 7 AM - Monday 7 AM
24-hour in-house call
Every other weekend schedule
Ongoing coverage: 2-3 weekends per month

Requirements
Board Certified
Ohio license - highly preferred
BLS
ACLS
Active DEA
Clean malpractice history

Required Procedures / Skills
Low- and high-risk pregnancy management
FHR interpretation (NST, CST, FSE)
OB ultrasound performance and interpretation
C-section decision-making and management
Routine vaginal delivery and complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions)
Circumcisions
VBACs
Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
Surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic, minor and major procedures)
Operative gynecology including ectopic pregnancy, oophorectomy, cystectomy

Assignment Details
Practice setting: hospital-based call; 90% labor & delivery
Coverage model: 2 providers, at least once per month
Call ratio: 1:4
Facility: 34 L&D/postpartum/triage beds; 205 total hospital beds
APP support: 1 per 12-hour shift
Onsite lab and ultrasound services
Support staff includes L&D nurses and midwives
Patient mix: 60% low-risk OB, 40% high-risk OB
60% gynecology cases
Average 5 GYN surgeries per day
Average 4 nursery admissions per day
Nursery level II
Credentialing timeframe: 30-90 days
EMR: Epic
