Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: 2 Years of ICU Experience, Immediate Open Heart Recovery Experience License: Active Ohio or Compact RN License Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active American Heart Association ACLS, Active NIHSS Certification Must-Have: - Work history skills checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty (ICU) Description: The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during their shift. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria. Judgments are made based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff.
