working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN
in Dayton, Ohio, 45409! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of CVICU
experience required License: Any state RN license is acceptable
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Pass an online EKG tele
competency assessment before starting the assignment Experience
with A-Lines, vents, drips, sheaths, dialysis, and drawing ABGs
Experience with Epic charting system required Floating and weekends
availability are mandatory Description: Position available in a
cardiac intensive care unit. Seeking dedicated and skilled
registered nurses for night shifts. The unit typically operates
with a patient ratio of 1:2. Work involves management of tele,
drips, and ventilated patients. Travelers will be the first to
float at the facility's discretion. Experience in Level 1 Trauma
preferred. Nurses will support a medically appropriate assignment
or team. Floating to additional campuses may occur, less than 15
miles apart. Travelers must be available to work every other
weekend and holiday. The facility reserves the right to cancel
shifts due to low census. Travelers are not eligible for internal
employee incentives. The patient population includes adults and
geriatrics with various diagnoses, such as heart failure and
cardiac arrest. The unit performs special procedures including open
heart recovery and ARDS proning. Continuous renal replacement
therapy and management of circulatory support devices are part of
the responsibilities. Laboratory work and an EKG/dysrhythmia exam
must be completed within the specified timeframe. No requests for
time off will be accepted after the initial submission. Fewer than
14 days of time off are allowed throughout the contract duration. 5
