Interventional Radiology Location: Lexington, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,186 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the Position Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 1-3 years in Interventional Radiology License: State Radiation License required before start date Certifications: ARRT(R), BLS, RTR or RTRVI Must-Have: - Must be proficient in scrubbing as first assist to physician. - Must have experience with EPIC, Siemens single and Bi-plane equipment, and McKesson PACS. Description: This position involves 4-10 hour shifts from Monday to Friday with a rotating day off each week. The day off is typically following a call shift. Expect 1 to 2 call shifts per week and 1 weekend every 6 weeks. Assist the physician with interventional neuro, vascular, CT, and ultrasound guided procedures. Advanced knowledge in neuro and vascular interventional procedures is required. Proficient knowledge of image acquisition, supplies, and equipment operation is preferred. Experience as a first assist and demonstration of circulating skills is required. Candidates should possess strong skills in upper and lower extremity angiography, cardiac stent placement, and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA). Experience in various interventional radiology procedures such as embolization, biopsies, and catheter placements is necessary. Candidates must be able to respond to call requirements effectively within a 30-minute callback time. This role requires working with diverse patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates should be prepared for possible floating to affiliate facilities. Rehire eligibility checks will be performed every week. As part of the call policy, candidates may be required to fill various shifts during weekends. All applicants must adhere to compliance guidelines regarding prior employment and licensure. Strong interventional radiology and related procedural experience is essential for consideration.
