Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,955 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Observation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: - Telemetry and dysrhythmia management experience - Experience in PCU/stepdown care - Proficient in IV insulin and heparin protocols - Experience with renal failure management - Skilled in administering cardiac and vasoactive drips (including titration) - Blood product administration experience - Competency in tracheostomy management - Familiarity with rapid response team utilization - Wound care and Wound Vac experience - Non-invasive airway management skills (CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen) - Proficient in EPIC documentation Description: This position requires a registered nurse to work in the emergency department observation unit. The patient age group includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Staffing ratios will be 1 nurse to 4 patients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Experience in charge nursing is a plus. Prior experience with patient ratios of 4 is preferred. Familiarity with charting systems, especially Epic, is advantageous. Experience in community hospitals and LTAC is preferred. Trauma level I or II experience is a plus. Candidates must have the ability to manage a variety of patient care situations. Reference requirements include two professional references, one from a managerial position. Education must be from an accredited nursing program. Candidates must possess a valid nursing license at the time of application.
