Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,269 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required License: Valid compact or state license required Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: - EPIC experience required - Previous travel experience preferred - Oncology experience preferred but not required Description: This is a nursing position in a medical-surgical oncology unit. The nurse will provide care to patients needing continuous cardiac monitoring related to chemotherapy administration. Patients may have soft tissue malignancies receiving diagnostic services, chemotherapy, and symptom management. There is a focus on managing comorbidities and infection prevention protocols. Attention to patient falls is important. The nurse will utilize special equipment including B450 monitors, telemetry systems, bladder scanners, Alaris pumps, and Stryker beds. A ratio of 1:4 is expected with responsibilities that include the interpretation of dysrhythmias, accessing ports, and blood product administration. Nurses will also manage central lines and PICC lines, start IVs, and assist with chest tube insertion/removal. High flow nasal cannula management and interpreting ABGs are required skills. Candidates must meet experience requirements within the last three years, with at least one year of current specialty experience for clinical proficiency. All candidates should be aware of the urgency of the fingerprinting process required for credentialing.
