Travel Nursing Job Details - Location: Columbus, OH 43201 (Travel Nursing Job, Columbus OH) - Assignment Length: 13 weeks - Start Date: March 23, 2026 - Employment Type: Travel / Contract (On-Site) - Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) – LTAC nurse role - Shift: Day Shift, 12-hour shifts - Hours per Week: 36 - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,710 – $1,800 (competitive travel RN pay) - Openings: 1 LTAC Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license meeting Ohio state requirements (Ohio nursing license) - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift - ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY) - Minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience highly desired - Strong assessment, care planning, clinical documentation, and critical thinking skills - Commitment to patient and employee safety, infection prevention, and adherence to unit policies LTAC RN Responsibilities - Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans (nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate) - Provide direct patient care for medically complex LTAC patients - Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner (electronic charting experience preferred) - Recognize and communicate changes in patient status promptly to ensure continuity of care and patient safety - Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences, collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and provide patient updates for ongoing care planning - Initiate discharge planning and provide patient/family education beginning at admission - Delegate appropriately and provide direction, training, and supervision to LPNs, CNAs, and orientees - Promote a safe environment through safe patient handling, infection prevention, and fall-risk reduction practices - Support unit operations by communicating supply and equipment needs and delivering cost-conscious, quality-focused care - Assume charge responsibilities as needed following orientation Why Columbus, OH?
