Registered Nurse (RN) | Interventional Radiology Location: Lexington, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,786 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 3/24/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Interventional Radiology RN in Lexington, Kentucky, 40536! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required. 1 year of Neuro experience or experience with Neuro in a general ICU. License: Compact or Kentucky State License required at time of submission. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Level one experience preferred. Travel experience required. Neuro Interventional Radiology procedure experience required. Candidate must be comfortable and skilled in care for neonates through geriatric patients in a procedural setting. Description: The position requires a highly skilled Registered Nurse to work in Interventional Radiology. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology. Candidates must also have at least 1 year of Neuro experience or equivalent experience in a general ICU. Neuro procedure experience is essential for this role. Candidates must feel confident in performing cerebral angiography, carotid angiography, neurologic thrombolysis, and vertebroplasty procedures. Candidates should rate themselves as a 3 or 4 in the following areas: CVA, aneurysms, myelograms, and lumbar puncture. This position requires the ability to work 10-hour shifts and to take call one to two nights a week and one to two weekends every six-week schedule. Candidates must have a 30-minute response time for call duties. There is a daily census of approximately 50 patients seen, spanning all age groups from neonates to geriatrics. Candidates must have experience working within an interdisciplinary support network, including physical therapy and rapid response teams. Compliance requirements include various competency exams and skills assessments. Candidates will not be accepted if they live within a specified local radius. Local travelers are not eligible for this position. References are required for consideration.
