Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Lexington, Kentucky. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 14 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of specialty experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT RT(R) required. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab - Day shifts with four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM - Call requirements include one late call and one overnight call per week, plus 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule - Floating within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals as needed - Level 1 trauma environment preferred - Uses Philips Single and Bi Plane Angiography equipment (preferred) - EPIC EHR and McKesson system experience required - May float to other hospital departments or affiliated hospitals as needed - Call shifts involve varied weekday and weekend hours with a 1-hour response time - All IR PACU recovery patients must be transferred and recovered per established protocols - Return staff must have a 90-day separation to be eligible for travel assignments - Modules are completed during orientation and annually, specific to specialty - Rehire eligibility will be checked for candidates with previous employment at the facility /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab Technologist experience required - Active KY Radiologic Technologist license through ARRT RT(R) required before start; pending license at submission allowed (license required if applicable) - BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required prior to start - PALS certification required prior to start but not at time of submission - Successful completion of EKG onboarding exam required - Must be able to provide at least one reference from a charge nurse or supervisor - No licensure hits accepted - Epic EHR and McKesson experience required - Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-629381.
