Job Description About the Role The University of Kentucky
Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a board-certified or
board-eligible cardiologist with subspecialty training in
cardio-oncology to serve as Medical Director. This is an excellent
opportunity to lead a growing program in a collaborative, academic
environment while also serving patients across Central and Eastern

Multidisciplinary ambulatory cardio-oncology care with inpatient
consultations at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. -
Specialty Ambulatory Space: Dedicated cardio-oncology specialty
clinic with fully trained staff, including specialty-trained
pharmacy, located within the only NIH-designated Comprehensive
Cancer Center in the region. - Practice Locations: UK Markey Cancer
Center and UK Gill Heart & Vascular Institute. - Collaboration:
Strong multidisciplinary partnerships with oncology, surgery, and
advanced subspecialty programs across UK HealthCare. Compensation

Qualifications Education: M.D./D.O. degree or equivalent
Experience: Completion of residency in Internal Medicine and
Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship; strong clinical background and
demonstrated teaching abilities Certifications: Board
eligible/board certified in Internal Medicine & Cardiovascular
Diseases with current or eligible licensure to practice in Kentucky
Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the
ability to connect with internal and external stakeholders UK
