Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Bone Marrow Transplant - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/28/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Unit Profile – Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Unit: 4th Floor – Bone Marrow Transplant Openings: 2 RNs Beds: 17 Ratios: 1:1–1:3 Shift: Nights 7:00 PM–7:30 AM Every 3rd weekend (24 hrs) Holidays as needed Guaranteed Hours: 36 Call: None Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Certification RN License Experience: Negotiable Float: To similar units (oncology, stepdown, critical care) Unit Details: Patients: Hematology/BMT patients requiring chemo, blood & electrolyte replacement, neuro assessments, long-term IV therapy Equipment: Vents, Alaris pumps, Phillips monitors EMR: EPIC (Beacon) Must-Have Skills: Stepdown or critical care experience Blood administration, electrolyte replacement Central line care, neuro assessments High-risk/hazardous drug administration Preferred: Oncology/BMT experience Chemo administration Vent & drip experience Dress Code: Navy scrubs (facility-approved only) Orientation: Mandatory online education 3 shifts unit orientation Parking/Day 1: Heart Center or ER lot (yellow staff spaces). Enter Door 12, elevators to 4th floor, report to secretary station.
