Job Description GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel Medical Lab Scientist for a travel job in Indianapolis, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Medical Lab Scientist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Title - Medical Laboratory Scientist Location - Indianapolis, IN Duration - 13 weeks Shift - Day, Eve, & Night Weekly hours - 40 Key Responsibilities - Perform, analyze, review, and release lab test results per SOPs - Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines - Perform and document QC, calibrations, maintenance, and corrective actions - Handle specimens, reagents, and records accurately - Report STAT and critical results as required - Participate in training, audits, and inspections Requirements - Strong knowledge of laboratory testing, QC/QA, and lab systems - Good computer skills and ability to multitask - Excellent attention to detail and patient confidentiality Education & Experience - BS in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field - ASCP/AMT certification (or eligibility) preferred - Minimum 1 year clinical laboratory experience (high-complexity testing preferred) About GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions GTT Healthcare is a specialized healthcare staffing division of Global Technical Talent, supporting hospitals and healthcare systems across the United States.
