Veteran Health Indiana is actively seeking an excellent general
Cardiologist to join our established program in downtown
Indianapolis, Indiana . Position highlights: High-complexity VA
Medical Center with robust resources onsite servicing central
Indiana Opportunity to expand the Cardiology imaging program, the
ability to interpret transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and
perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) including
intraprocedural TEE for structural heart interventions is desired
Monday-Friday schedule with light call Access to Clinical
Pharmacists onsite A high-quality, patient-focused team including
Nurse Practitioners Advanced Cardiac center with
Cath/Electrophysiology labs, Cardiac Surgery and imaging onsite
Cardiology fellowship program and teaching service with opportunity
for academic appointment Up to $200K in student loan reimbursement

Indianapolis, Indiana Qualifications: MD or DO degree Completion of
ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship BE/BC American Board of
Internal Medicine (ABIM) Cardiovascular Disease Current full and
unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State,
Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of
Columbia. VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package: Pay:
Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary
increases Paid Time Off: 50–55 days (8-hour shifts estimated) of
paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick
leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible up to 5 day
paid absence for CME. Opportunity for up to 12 weeks paid Parental
leave. Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting)
