Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Lexington, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,268 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 2/24/2026 About the Position Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 4 years in Operating Room required License: Compact or state license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Level 2 experience required, trauma experience required Description: Every weekend commitment is required. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the Operating Room. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Level 2 trauma experience is mandatory, and Level 1 experience is preferred. Candidates must be well-rounded and able to circulate a variety of cases. Trauma experience is essential. Local candidates within a 100-mile radius are not accepted. Compliance requirements include BLS certification, Basic Math exam, OR competency exam, and CORE exams. Candidates will float within the facility or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Response time for call is 1 hour. Weekday call will be from 8 PM to 6 AM. Weekends will be divided into two shifts: 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM. Call frequency is anticipated to be 2-3 shifts per schedule period (6 weeks). Candidates must have applicable skills for various procedures in the Operating Room, including trauma, robotics, and general surgical procedures. There is a no-medication exam requirement. Applicants should possess a comprehensive understanding of infection control and safety protocols. Candidates will be expected to respond to emergencies and maintain patient safety.
