Doctor of Medicine | Neurology - General/Other Location: Cincinnati, OH Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Description We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist for an inpatient locum tenens assignment in Cincinnati, Ohio . This opportunity is to support hospital-based neurology services following an unexpected provider departure , with ongoing schedule gaps anticipated through September–October 2026 . The start date is flexible and not yet confirmed , and coverage will continue on an as-needed basis until approximately September or October 2026 . Practice Setting Setting: Hospital-based Coverage Type: Inpatient Neurology Patient Population: Adult only Average Census: 10–20 inpatient patients per day EMR: Epic Team Structure: 2 Neurologists 3 Advanced Practice Providers Onsite lab and imaging Other Neurologists Onsite During Assignment: Yes Assignment Details Coverage Duration: Ongoing locum coverage through September–October 2026 Start Date: Flexible / To Be Determined Shift Type: 24-Hour Call Call Schedule: Rotating weekday and weekend call Reason for Coverage: Abrupt and unexpected provider departure Credentialing Timeframe: As soon as possible Pay Rates 24-Hour Call Rate: $2,436 per 24 hours Call Back Rate: $400 per hour (Applies to patient contact hours when called back in) Required Duties & Procedures Inpatient neurology consultations Thrombolytic therapy Radiologic exam interpretation (unofficial) EEG (Electroencephalogram) EMG (Electromyogram) Brain death examinations Collaboration with hospitalists and APPs Documentation using Epic EMR Travel & Reimbursement Lodging up to ~$150 per night Travel reimbursed at standard/economy rates Presentation Requirements Current CV (including locums history) Provider contact information Availability details NPDB self-query (within 30 days) License information Malpractice/background documentation References (if available) Scope of services (if applicable) Requirements Mandatory Requirements Board Certified in Neurology Active Ohio Medical License (IMLC accepted) ACLS Certification NPDB Self-Query (dated within 30 days of presentation) Availability must extend through September or October 2026 Benefits ??
