Experience: Minimum 3 years in sterile processing License: Required
Certifications: CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA Must-Have: - High-Level
Disinfection (HLD) experience - Knowledge of sterilization
processes (Sterrard and steam) - Experience with Censitrac Tracking
System Description: We are seeking experienced candidates in all
areas of sterile processing. Candidates must have experience in the
decontamination of all items, including drills, scopes, and the
assembly of instruments in all service lines. Knowledge of
sterilization processes and high-level disinfection is critical.
Experience in sterile storage and liaison work in the operating
room is preferred. Candidates must be familiar with the
sterilization wrapping procedures and proper labeling of
instruments. Experience in working with endoscopes and various
types of surgical instruments is essential. Candidates will serve
as clinical liaisons to track and allocate sterilized
instrumentation effectively. This position requires flexibility to
work weekends and holidays as scheduled. Candidates must also
demonstrate proficiency in the proper use of automated endoscope
reprocessors and ultrasonic cleaners. Strong documentation skills
are necessary to ensure compliance and safe practices in
sterilization. A high level of attention to detail is required to
maintain safety and quality standards. Candidates should be
prepared to work collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure the
availability of sterile instrumentation. This position may involve
operating in multiple reprocessing sites across the system.
