Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Indianapolis, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,092 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in PCU, DOU, IMC, or Stepdown License: Must be in hand prior to start date Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Must-Have: Charge experience preferred Ability to manage and titrate cardiac drips Experience with starting IVs and interpretation of dysrhythmias Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit with a focus on high-acuity medical cases. This unit handles multiple cardiac drips and stable ventilation support. Nurses will be responsible for managing patients with multi-organ failure and other critical conditions. Candidates should be comfortable with precepting students and may be assigned to mentor nursing students during their assignment. Charge nurse responsibilities may also be required with the appropriate training provided. Travelers must have the ability to float to different levels of care, including Med-Surg, PCU, and ICU, based on operational needs. Weekends will be required every other week, with potential for consecutive weekends based on staffing needs. Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities is essential for this position. We expect candidates to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
