working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Columbus,
Ohio, 43210! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum
of 2 years of nursing experience License: Valid nursing license
required Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and IV certification
Must-Have: Proficiency in IV starts and general nursing skills
Experience with electronic medical record systems Description:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients. Perform CPAP/BiPAP,
medication titrations, and charge-capable night traveler duties.
Demonstrate maximum flexibility and may be required to work every
other weekend. May be floated to units of equivalent or lower
acuity as necessary. Conduct IV starts and general nursing tasks
such as monitoring, labs, medication administration, and patient
education. Utilize electronic medical record systems for
documentation and patient care management. Provide care to adult
patient populations with various diagnoses including bacteremia,
COPD, anemia, and more. Support interdisciplinary teams including
IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
Work within a 31-bed medical-surgical unit with an average daily
census of around 25 patients. Perform special procedures including
chest tube placement, feeding tube management, and tracheostomy
care. Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures
for patient care. Demonstrate skills in managing dysrhythmias and
non-invasive airway management. Be prepared for potential on-call
