find a qualified MICU RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210! Job Opportunity
– Critical Care Registered Nurse – Ohio Start Date: March 1, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: Self-scheduling; 2:1 patient ratio
for days, nights, and weekends; 48 hours of orientation provided
Highlights: Work with a critical patient population including
multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, sepsis,
post-cardiac arrest, and renal failure Epic charting system in a
24-bed unit with daily census of 24 patients Extensive
interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy,
respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
Advanced equipment and procedures including NxStage CRRT, Alaris IV
pumps, GE cardiac monitors and ventilators Pre-approved time off
available; float to other units as needed within the organization
Contract extension opportunity for qualified candidates
Requirements: Valid Compact or Ohio RN license required at time of
submission Minimum 2 years of registered nurse experience Current
ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications Epic charting system experience
required Demonstrated skills in care of ventilated patients,
continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of
dysrhythmias, management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure,
and ventilator management Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited
nursing program Two professional references required: at least one
from a manager, director, or formal supervisor; charge RN
acceptable for second reference Candidates must complete Ohio
fingerprinting promptly upon contract signing; strict compliance
deadline applies Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
