Job Title: RN Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of acute care RN experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, NIH Must-Have: - 2 years of RN experience - Knowledge of telemetry and ability to read tele strips Description: We are seeking a highly skilled RN for our Telemetry unit. The shift schedule is from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including every other weekend. The unit has 32 beds, with a patient ratio of 1:5-6. Common diagnoses include bariatric surgery, colorectal surgery, and gastrointestinal conditions. The RN will be required to manage IV insertions, blood draws, PICC and central line management. Experience with trach care, peritoneal dialysis, PCA pumps, and feeding tubes is necessary. Additionally, the RN will utilize EPIC for charting. The scrub color for the unit is Galaxy Blue, which is not provided. This position requires strong assessment and critical thinking skills. Candidates must possess effective communication skills and demonstrate professionalism.
