Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel ID: 55190786 Shift: 09:00 AM-09:30 PM Description: Shift: 9a-930pCall: 11p-7a no more than once per week, Every 6th weekend on-call 7a-7p Saturday & Sunday, rotating with 7p-7a on-call Saturday & Sunday Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH, 2 years RN experience Work Experience (Basic): 2 years of acute care RN experience Education (Required): Diploma or Associate Education (Desired): Certification (Required): Registered Nurse Certification (Desired):SKILLS Required: IV insertion Blood draws PICC/Central Line management: A-line management CVP IABP Cardioversion/defibrillation Procedural sedation CPAP/BiPAP Ventilators Trach Care Epidural/PCA pump Continuous bladder irrigation Wound vac Other skills needed?: Post anesthesia care experience Unit Description: Facility: NWCH Unit Name/Type of unit: PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)Selling points for the unit: Highly engaged and welcoming staff. beds/procedures: 23 PACU beds approximately 50 cases per day Patient ratio: 2:1 on average can be 1:1 as needed Does RN need to know how to read tele strips?
