The nurse utilizes the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. Critical thinking skills and scientific judgment are essential for anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of care. The registered nurse maintains clinical competencies through continuing education. This role includes delegating patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff. Direction and supervision of assigned personnel in delivering patient care are key responsibilities. Experience in a similar role is required.
