Job Description:
Job Title: MRI Technician Profession: MRI Technician Specialty:
MRI Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Thursday-Saturday Hours
per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 AM - 07:00 PM) Experience: Minimum 1
year working with MRIs in a clinical setting License: Required BLS
Certifications: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT Certification Must-Have: - BLS
Certification - ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT Certification Description: Shift
is Thursday to Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Call required is 4
shifts per month and call every 6th Sunday. One year of experience
working with MRIs in a clinical setting is required. Experience
with outpatient and inpatient MRI procedures is required.
Experience with anesthesia cases, implants, pacemakers, spine,
brain, and extremity procedures is beneficial. Common equipment
used includes Siemens MRI machines. Common medication administered
is MRI contrast. Scrub color is pewter.
