come. We're on the hunt for a dynamic, people-lovin' leader to step
up as our General Manager, the grand poobah overseeing the daily
dose of WhistlePig wonder. This ain't just about keeping the gears
turning; it's about crafting experiences that stick to your ribs
(in a good way!), building a team that's tighter than a cooper's
barrel, and making sure every soul who walks through our doors
leaves with a tale worth tellin' over a dram. If you've got the

- Running the Roost: You'll keep the PiggyBank humming like a
well-oiled still - from the warm welcome at the door to the hustle
in the back, ensuring everything's smoother than a sip of our
18-Year.
- Pouring on the Hospitality: You'll be the champion of top-notch
service, delivering an exceptional guest experience with
hospitality as warm as a Kentucky summer and cocktails that'll make
your taste buds sing.
- Laying Down the Law (the good kind!): You'll uphold our
standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring operations are
tighter than a bung and excellence is as consistent as our
award-winning rye.
- Troubleshooting Trailblazer: When hiccups happen (and they
will!), you'll be the quick-thinking problem-solver, keeping our
guests grinning and eager for another round.Leading the Pack:
- Building a Barn-Raising Crew: You'll handpick, train, coach,
and nurture a team of all-star hogs who bleed WhistlePig and live
for the guest experience.
- Scheduling Savvy: You'll wrangle schedules with the precision
of a master distiller, manage payroll like a pro, and ensure the
right folks are in the right spot when the action's hot.
- Cultivating a Pig Pen of Positivity: You'll foster a strong,
vibrant culture where our crew is motivated, feels empowered, and
wears the WhistlePig badge with pride.
- Conflict Corraler: When disagreements arise, you'll step in
with confidence and care, ensuring everyone leaves the pen
happy.Counting the Rye (and Making it Grow):
- Mindin' the Money: You'll own the numbers - from wrangling
budgets and controlling costs to dissecting sales and managing
inventory like it's liquid gold.
- Efficiency Engineer: You'll sniff out opportunities to
streamline operations, boost revenue, and keep the PiggyBank's
coffers overflowing.
- Vendor Whisperer: You'll partner with our suppliers, optimize
our supply chain, and keep our ordering on point, ensuring we're
always stocked with the good stuff.
- Financial Fact Finder: You'll report our financial standing
with clarity and accuracy, always keeping compliance top of
mind.Crafting the Culinary Corral:
- Menu Maverick: You'll team up with Marketing to evolve our food
and beverage offerings, creating a menu that wows palates and
boosts the bottom line.
- Quality Quaffer: You'll ensure every pour, every bite, and
every moment meets our high standards for quality, safety, and
presentation - we're talkin' WhistlePig level here.Spreading the
Swine Gospel:
- PiggyBank Ambassador: You'll be the face and the voice of our
Louisville outpost, building buzz and drawing folks in like a moth
to a porch light.
- Local Legend Launcher: You'll spearhead local marketing
initiatives, events, and partnerships that'll keep the town talkin'
'bout the PiggyBank.
- Guest Guru: You'll handle inquiries and reservations with the
smoothness of a well-aged pour, ensuring every guest has a
memorable experience from hello to 'come back soon!'Keeping it Safe
and Spirited:
- Compliance Commander: You'll ensure we're always in lockstep
with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Safety Sheriff: You'll create a workplace that's as safe as it
is spirited - we want good times, not mishaps.What You Bring to the
Barrel:
- Proven leadership and team management skills - you know how to
lead with both heart and hustle.
- Communication skills sharper than a freshly honed bar knife -
with staff, guests, vendors, and the bigwigs.
- Experience wrangling restaurant or bar operations - and a
genuine passion for making folks feel welcome.
- Problem-solving prowess and decision-making dexterity - you
think on your feet and stay cool when the heat is on.
- A solid understanding of budgeting, inventory wrangling, and
financial reporting - you know how to count beans (or rye
grains!).
- Familiarity with food safety, hygiene habits, and the rules of
the hospitality road.
- Bonus points if you've got a background in hospitality, guest
experience, event execution, or crafting unforgettable
moments.
- Extra credit for bartender or server stripes - you've been in
the trenches and know the game from the ground up.The mashbill:
