Job SummaryVertiv is hiring a Sr. Director, Project Services PL!
The Product Line Leader for Project Services isresponsible for
Vertiv's entire suite of services that fall under our "Project
Services" portfolio inclusive of development, commercialization,
delivery, and support. This role involves overseeing a team of
professionals, ensuring the successful execution of project
services, and driving continuous improvement and innovation. This
role demands a visionary leader who can set the strategic direction
for project services, influence global strategies, and drive
innovation to deliver exceptional customer value and operational
excellence. The ultimate measure of success will be through year
over year, profitable growth of the product line.This position will
be based onsite in Westerville / Columbus, OH.Responsibilities:
- Subject matter expert and global thought leaders for the
product line.
- Maintain a continual pulse of the market: trends, customer
needs, and competitive activity, while navigating Vertiv to
success
- Lead the product line, including strategy development and
execution.
- Robust business plans inclusive of investments, timelines, and
profitable year over year growth
- Oversee the development, delivery, and support of project
services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering,
operations, marketing, and sales to ensure alignment with business
goals.
- Manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, mentorship,
and support.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the product
line.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders,
clients, and industry experts.
- Advocate for lifecycle services initiatives within the
organization and represent the company at industry events,
conferences, and forums.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best
practices.
- Develop and manage the budget for lifecycle services
initiatives and projects.
- Report on the performance and impact of lifecycle services
initiatives to senior leadership.
- Identify and implement emerging trends and technologies in
lifecycle services to enhance service offerings.
- Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency and
customer satisfaction.
- Lead the development and execution of strategic plans to
achieve business objectives.Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field; advanced degree
preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in lifecycle services or a related
field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience
leading large, diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of delivering successful lifecycle services
and driving impactful change.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a
strategic mindset.
- Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in lifecycle
services.
- Experience working in a global organization and managing
international lifecycle services efforts.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build
strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with
constantly changing priorities.
- Travel Requirements:
- 25%travel domestically and internationally as required, with
participation in global meetings outside normal working hours.The
