If you are passionate about people, problem-solving, and continuous improvement, we invite you to explore career opportunities with us.Job DescriptionThis role involves directing IT project management staff, utilizing knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to meet or exceed stakeholder expectations, including the management of project components such as scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement throughout the systems lifecycle.The Director will oversee a portfolio of projects to achieve specific business objectives, from concept through solution design to implementation. The role includes interfacing with all affected areas, directing program strategy, overseeing work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports, and providing guidance and oversight to project teams. The Director will also serve as a point of reference for IT project management within the sector, including:

• Organizational Interfaces

• Coordinate interaction with Business Unit Management, representing IT in developing business strategies, assessing IT solutions, and supporting new product evaluations.
• Develop IT responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs, deliver customer/partner presentations, and manage relationships with customers, partners, and vendors.
• Project Planning & Administration
  • Lead efforts to conceptualize solutions, define engagements, create project work plans, and oversee project administration processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate all IT groups involved in project delivery.
  • Project Delivery
    • Ensure project components meet standards, satisfy customers, are completed on time, and are profitable.
    • Coordinate with Business Systems Analysis and Development teams.
    • Personnel Management
      • Provide leadership, motivation, training, and decision support to project staff.
      • Leverage team competencies, manage staff diversity, conduct performance reviews, and recruit and develop staff.
      • General Responsibilities
        • Propose and implement project standards, policies, and procedures.
        • Promote understanding of DHL Supply Chain's project lifecycle, concepts, and business processes.
        • Possess broad knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as networks, platforms, and operating systems.
        • Manage the fiscal budget for the sector.Required Education and Experience
          • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field; Master's Degree preferred.
          • Minimum 15+ years of experience in an IT environment.
          • Professional project or program management experience, including system design, development, or integration projects.
          • Experience in planning major projects, developing proposals, schedules, and financial justifications.
