Success in this position will require someone who is a well-rounded security professional with an understanding of risk and security controls.

What you do

• Conduct security risk assessments at the enterprise, organizational and technology levels
• Conduct third party security risk assessments of key vendors and business partners
• Provide security advice and consultation on IT/Business projects
• Assist in building and maintaining the security risk framework/ risk register across the organization, business units & IT
• Assist in third party security assurance activities, gathering responses to third party requests for security information and security compliance driven activities.
• Assist in other security risk management activities as needed:
• Development and maintenance of policies and standards, maintenance of policy exceptions
• Security training and awareness activities
• Security risk reporting, including development of security KRIs/KPIs/Metrics, Dashboards, Reporting
• Security risk operations, including proactive monitoring of security ticketing systemsWhat you bring
  
  
  • 4+ years of relevant experience required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Previous IT audit and/or security risk management experience required
  • Understanding of security risk management concepts and processes required
  • Experience in areas of regulatory compliance including HIPAA, PCI, PII, or others required
  • Familiarity with the NIST, CIS and SOC2 frameworks required
  • Previous insurance and/or financial services industry experience desired
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or equivalent certification(s) desiredWhat we offer
