Job Description Job Description Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CMM Operator role in Cincinnati, OH. Key Responsibilities: · Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect precision-machined parts and components. · Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate dimensional inspection. · Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections to verify product conformance to customer and company standards. · Develop and edit CMM programs using applicable software. · Maintain calibration and proper functioning of CMM equipment and related inspection tools. · Document inspection results and generate detailed reports for quality and production teams. · Identify non-conforming materials and collaborate with production to support corrective actions. · Ensure compliance with quality standards, including ISO requirements and internal procedures. · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies. · Communicate effectively with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve inspection-related issues. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or related training preferred. · Minimum 1–3 years of experience operating and programming CMM equipment in a manufacturing environment. · Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading. · Experience with CMM software (such as PC-DMIS or similar platforms) preferred. · Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.). · Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods as needed. · Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. · Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
