Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic / Electrician for our packaging client to start immediately at up to $100k/annually DOE! Responsibilities: This position is responsible for performing daily maintenance tasks such as troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and working with instrumentation, electrical systems, and calibration to ensure reliable and efficient equipment operation. The individual will collaborate closely with team members to uphold high standards of productivity, quality, and workplace safety. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, equipment, and wiring within an industrial environment. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical or control issues involving production lines, machinery, and systems such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and other automation components. Calibrate and fine-tune sensors, instruments, and tension controls to achieve optimal performance levels. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to ensure accurate installation and repair work. Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical and automation systems to minimize unexpected downtime. Assemble, wire, and test control panels in accordance with specifications and applicable safety standards. Maintain detailed maintenance records, including updates to computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and technical logs. Location: Indianapolis, IN Schedule/Shift Details: 1st/2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, start times flexible Can expect at least 10 hours of OT per week. Qualifications: Proficiency in troubleshooting basic control systems and performing preventive maintenance. Hands-on experience with PLCs and automation troubleshooting required. Solid understanding of electricity, motors, and servos. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures. Capable of working both independently and collaboratively. Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or relevant certifications strongly desired.
