looking for employee’s that offer a positive attitude to support

manner. As a Plumbing Service Technician, you will be responsible
for troubleshooting, assembling, installing, and repairing
equipment as needed for each service call. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities Handles correspondence by treating the customer
with respect at all times, answering any questions they may have
Maintain/repair equipment: operate, clean regularly, and recommend
to management maintenance needs for any equipment that you cannot
fix. Report any broken equipment to owner immediately Evaluate
service call problems/installations and repair in a timely fashion.
Troubleshoot cause of operation errors and decide appropriate
action Complete work orders, including name, address, phone and
date of service. List all merchandise, machines used, and hours of
labor Ensure work orders and other hand-written items are legible
for other employees Report any merchandise that needs reordered to
the office Put your unused material back on the shelf when you
return from the job Reading, understands, and applies plumbing
codes Operate and maintains powered industrial equipment and hand
tools Applies safety in the work environment and has knowledge of
implementing policies Be capable of working with a wide range of
piping systems and materials used in the plumbing industry.
Examples include, but are not limited to; Multiple types of PVC,
ABS, CPVC, Copper, cast iron, steel and stainless. Be proficient
with various methods of joining pipe. Examples include, but are not
limited to; glues and primers, soldering, brazing, Pro-Press,
threaded and Victaulic Organizes, plans and prioritizes work
environment Follow all Gutridge vehicle guidelines Other duties as

perform all maintenance and operations checks of job related
equipment Time Management – Uses his/her time effectively and
efficiently. Concentrates his/her efforts on the more important
priorities. Customer Focus – Is dedicated to meeting the
expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
Gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements
in products and services. Acts with customers in mind. Establishes
and maintains effective relationships with customer sand gains
their trust and respect. Education and Experiences Starting hourly
rate based off education and experience. Preferred Education – High
School diploma, completion of or enrollment in a recognized
apprenticeship program, OSHA 30 or 10, and ability to obtain med
gas certification. Preferred Experience – 3 years in the plumbing
industry. Working knowledge and/or willingness to learn the use of
computers, tablets, and smart phones. Basic skills in Microsoft
products is helpful. Physical Demands and Work Environment
Performing the essential functions of this job will require, but
are not limited to, the ability to climb permanent and temporary
stairs, ladders, and negotiate work areas under construction in
adverse weather conditions. Work may be performed in ditches and
elevated work platforms. Vision abilities required to perform this
job included close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and
the ability to wear approved eye protection. The person must have
the ability to hear bells, alarms, whistles etc. Performing this
job requires the use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools
and/or controls. You will be required to sit, walk, talk, stand,
climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. The individual will
be exposed to loud machinery or equipment, fumes, airborne
particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. This employee must have
the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and
without assistance. Candidates for this position must possess a
valid driver license and reliable means of transportation. A
40-hour work week is standard and overtime, when needed, is
expected. With prior notification, applicants must be willing to
work flexible hours that may include night and weekend work. Unless
