Job Description:
Lincoln Electric, a leader in welding and cutting solutions, is
seeking a skilled Applications Design Engineer to join our
innovative Engineering & Design team located in Cleveland, Ohio.
This role is pivotal in developing cutting-edge applications that
enhance our product offerings, ensuring our solutions meet the
highest standards of efficiency and quality in the manufacturing
industry. The Applications Design Engineer will utilize advanced
engineering principles to design and optimize our comprehensive
suite of products, contributing to Lincoln Electric's reputation as
a pioneer in technology-driven solutions. Design, develop, and
enhance application solutions for welding and cutting products
considering functionality, data, security, integration,
infrastructure, and performance Collaborate with product management
and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions
for the product direction, visuals, and experience Create detailed
prototypes and work models for product components using CAD
software Evaluate the effectiveness of existing application
solutions and propose innovative improvements Conduct testing and
validation of new designs, including preparing product
documentation and providing support to production departments
during the product manufacture and rollout phases Lead
cross-functional teams to address and resolve product issues,
enhancing performance and user experience Stay abreast of latest
technologies and trends in application design within the
manufacturing industry Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD or
SolidWorks Strong understanding of welding and cutting technologies
and their applications in manufacturing Excellent analytical and
problem-solving skills Ability to work on multiple projects
simultaneously and under tight deadlines Strong communication and
