NOW HIRING: Maintenance Mechanic / Technician Location: Zeochem - 1360 S. 12^th Street, Louisville, KY 24/7 Chemical Manufacturing Facility This is a night shift position, working 6pm-6am 12-Hour Shifts | Bi-weekly 36/48 Hour Schedule | Weekend and Night Shifts Required Pay based on experience; plus $1.10 Night Shift Differential paid for night shift roles Are you a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced industrial setting? Zeochem is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic [Technician] to join our team at our 24/7 chemical manufacturing site. In this role, you’ll keep our operation running smoothly by repairing and maintaining the equipment essential to producing our high-quality Molecular Sieves. What You'll Do - Troubleshoot and repair pumps, fans, motors, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and production equipment - Perform predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance tasks - Use hand tools and basic electrical equipment for repairs and installations - Complete work orders, update CMMS records, and communicate shift-to-shift status updates - Perform welding and fabrication for equipment installations and repairs - Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements, reporting unsafe conditions proactively - Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and other team members to support a reliable, safe manufacturing process What You Bring - High school diploma or GED required - Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in chemical manufacturing (or equivalent), strongly preferred - Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools, equipment, and basic electrical systems - Ability to read and write in English to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and complete documentation - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in physically demanding environments, and climb stairs and ladders - Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and mandatory overtime Work Environment You’ll work around moving mechanical parts, heat, and occasionally at heights or with hazardous materials.
