Start your journey with us The Corporate Accounts Receivable department is currently seeking a part-time customer service representative to provide courteous, professional Level 1 technical phone support for customers with payment processing and with a variety of software and hardware problems. Hours: Part-time 9:00am - 2:00pm; 10:00am - 2:00pm; or 10:00am - 3:00pm Hours during initial training period are 7:30am - 4:15pm for three to four weeks. Be ready to: use incident and problem management system to document, track, update and close case activities provide customers with assistance in making payments perform and understand how to correctly follow processes, procedures and standards within department provide customers with technical assistance and guidance to prevent recurring problems with their online accounts and online bill pay perform basic hardware and software troubleshooting to resolve or escalate incident provide management with status reports follow and support internal and external audit compliance work with Commercial Lines, Personal Lines and Life Insurance billing advise basic account information and payment status to callers direct calls to the appropriate department when assistance is needed improve and develop technical support skills through outside education perform other administrative functions within the team to accomplish team goals Be equipped with: attitude for excellence in customer service the ability to analyze and solve problems excellent written and verbal communication skills proficient in Windows operating systems aptitude for technology and working knowledge of PCs and networks proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook Preferred Skills: prior call center customer service experience, 2-4 years preferred prior help desk experience customer service experience You've earned: high school diploma required Enhance your talents Providing outstanding service and developing strong relationships with our independent agents are hallmarks of our company.
