Job Description Job Description We are looking for an
experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our client's team in
Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will oversee comprehensive
accounting functions to ensure financial accuracy and operational
efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in
bookkeeping, financial reporting, and QuickBooks management, while
contributing to the organization's overall success.
Responsibilities: • Manage the full general ledger and ensure the
accuracy of financial records. • Prepare financial statements on a
monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. • Reconcile bank accounts,
credit cards, and general ledger accounts to maintain financial
integrity. • Oversee accounts payable processes, including vendor
bill coding, entry, and payment. • Generate and distribute customer
invoices while managing accounts receivable and collections. •
Track job costing, inventory adjustments, and expenses related to
manufacturing. • Record journal entries, accruals, and depreciation
to support accurate financial reporting. • Monitor cash flow and
assist with forecasting to guide financial planning. • Maintain and
optimize QuickBooks, including account setup and troubleshooting
discrepancies. • Provide operational support, such as managing
digital and physical filing systems, assisting with purchasing, and
addressing billing inquiries. • At least 3 years of experience as a
Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. • Advanced
proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online. • Strong
attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. •
Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple
priorities. • Solid knowledge of accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and bank reconciliations. • Proven ability to prepare
accurate financial statements and reports. • Experience with job
costing and inventory tracking is highly desirable.
