Let us help you grow at work and discover the next step in your career, all while being a vital part of your community. /n /nPay Rate: $17.75 per hour /nShift: 1st shift - 5:30 am to 2 pm (OT begins at 3:30 am) /n Monday - Friday, possible OT during week and on Saturday /n Possible Temp to Hire Opportunities /n /n /nWhat’s a typical day as a Forklift / Cherry Picker Operator? You’ll be: /n• Unloading pallets and cases from inbound trailers and/or containers manually and/or using Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as cherry picker, reach truck, double reach, sit down forklift, and motorized pallet jack. /n• Accurately counting, verifying, and receiving product using radio frequency (RF) equipment and/or Voice Pick Technology. /n• Documenting variances. /n• Moving cases of product from the inbound dock to storage locations in the warehouse using a standing reach truck or stock picker. /n• Moving pallets and/or cases from reserve location to pick location using a standing reach truck, stock picker, or sit down forklift. /n• Operating a forklift and picking items as high as 35 feet in the air. /n• Building pallets and delivering them to designated areas for shipping. /n• Using a sit-down forklift, electric or manual pallet jack to load pallets. /n• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment. /n• Following safety policies and procedures and correcting or communicating hazards to management. /n• Maintaining productivity and quality standards. /n /nThis job might be an outstanding fit if you: /n• Are able to count and perform basic math calculations. /n• Must be good with heights /n• Must be able to lift over 50s /n• Will be required to wear a harness /n• Have a demonstrated ability to operate various MHE. /n• Can follow general sequencing and process procedures. /n• Have exceptional attention to detail, able to identify errors down to the single digit or letter. /n• Have a strong attendance record./n Benefits: /n/n /n/t - Eligible to enroll once you’ve been paid once (paid weekly)/n/t - You will get an enrollment notification email and will have 30 days to enroll/n/t - Benefits are effective on the next 1st of the month once you have completed enrollment/n/t - Please go to http://ec.benefitsatkelly.com/ for more information/n /n /nWhat happens next: /nOnce you apply, you’ll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
