The Plant Controller will be responsible for the financial records of our Fairfield, Ohio facility. This will include inventory, master data, standard costing, variance analysis, all spending as it relates to the facility, capital projects, and asset management. This role will be the financial business partner to the COO and Fairfield management team._ _If you're up for the challenge, we'd love to hear from you!_ A Little Bit About You: You have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance paired with 5-7 years of demonstrated experience with cost accounting and the use of standards and variances, preferably within a manufacturing environment You are skilled in reviewing and analyzing financial results, identifying issues and variances - then tracking down and resolving the source of those variances An excellent communicator; you can explain financial concepts to non-financial employees You possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal form You're a cross-functional team player and can manage/facilitate meetings and ongoing projects with other departments You are comfortable using multiple information systems and reconciling information between them You are willing to roll up your sleeves and dig into the details whether that means digging into a system, or participating in a site wide inventory, you're willing to jump in You have strong system experience; MS Office Suite, ERP and MRP The Nitty Gritty: Accurate cost reporting by department for the Fairfield, Ohio facility, including month-end close tasks for the site and forecasting for the 13-week cash flow. Inventory accuracy maintained via cycle counting and closure of the manufacturing work orders. Responsibility to oversee the cycle counting team's results and physical inventory. Improve the accuracy and provide transparency to Ohio's inventory variances. Explain all large variances and the causes monthly. Resolve data and processing issues that are driving variances. Report on key metrics and financials results within the facility and to the Mansfield Corporate office. Participate in site management, providing financial leadership and direction as a business partner to the COO and the rest of the management team. Establish and maintain internal controls for the site. Assist in the maintenance and review of the physical assets assigned to the Ohio location.
