The Region Finance Controller is a talented, self-driven and high-energy individual that will have a dual role working with both the Electronics division providing financial support as it relates to various analysis and reporting as well as have full Controller responsibilities for the Cincinnati Manufacturing Plant as well as certain aspects of the Mexico business.

This person must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and across all businesses within Standex Electronics. Strong problem-solving skills is a must with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis. Excellent organizational and strong time management skills, detail oriented and a professional demeanor.

The Region Finance Controller will be responsible for the following:

• Preparing various monthly and quarterly financial reports for Electronics and Corporate Finance.
  
• Handle all intercompany transactions including reconciliations
  
• Support business with necessary financial analysis
  
• Prepare capital expenditure requests as necessary for the business
  
• Handle inventory costing and address margin review needs
  
• Assist with various control aspects and reporting
  
• Lead the Cincinnati annual financial audit with external auditors
  
• Assist in preparation of forecast and annual budgets along with other reporting requirements
  
• Handle all annual insurance reporting requirements
  
  Knowledge and Skills
  
  
  • Demonstrated experience in being a strong and collaborative business partner with an organization to help facilitate on-going improvements.
    
  • 5+ years of progressive experience with a background that includes accounting experience in manufacturing operations or relevant audit experience.
    
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, able to create complex spreadsheets, and able to understand and complete complex excel templates with business historical trends and explanatory information
    
  • Must be able to manage complexity and working effectively with multiple cultures and regions
    
  • Experience with SAP Business One a plus
    
    Educational Requirements/Experience:
    
    
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
      
    • CPA a Plus
