Cincinnati Insurance Companies seek a senior accountant to lead and
execute payment compliance efforts, research and report payment
industry offerings and trends, analyze payment data and trends,
learn our methods and processes for billing and payments, provide
enhancement recommendations, analyze and report billing and payment
costs and savings, work with various internal departments to
deliver cutting edge payment experiences to our policyholders,
perform cost-benefit analyses, and participate in many departmental
and corporate-wide project initiatives. Additional responsibilities
may include daily monthly & quarterly reporting, balancing, and
reconciliations. Be ready to/: stay -current on and research
emerging billing and payment trends, including innovative best
practices, capabilities and methodologies in the design and
development of billing and payment offerings and provide
recommendations for their use conduct -needs -analysis to assess
current offerings and compare to market solutions, including
-meetings -with subject matter experts and research to validate
billing or payment needs -and -determine what is required to
provide effective and efficient payment solutions define and
perform sophisticated data analysis develop and present findings
make decisions and recommendations for varied situations applying
judgment to interpret related information, policies, and procedures
analyze complex business processes and make recommendations within
the context of predefined strategies conduct gap analyses versus
recognized leading practices work with other internal and external
organizations or parties frequently which may include persuasion
and negotiation skills work independently under general supervision
display the highest level of professionalism prepare monthly,
quarterly, and annual reports and presentations prepare monthly,
quarterly, and annual reconciliations - Qualification: Be equipped
with/: experience in payments and payment technology ability to
analyze data and draw relevant conclusions ability to learn company
products, procedures, and billing and payment methodologies
requires excellent written and verbal communication skills use
various software and billing systems collaborate with others to get
results, including being flexible and open to change excellent oral
and written communication skills with the ability to tailor
messages to various levels of management professional,
business-like demeanor strong analytical and problem-solving skills
strong interpersonal and relationship building skills ability to
work both independently, as part of a team with professionals at
all levels, and across multiple functional disciplines motivation
to devote the time and effort necessary to meet deadlines exhibits
servant leadership behaves with a growth and agile mindset You have
earned or are pursuing/: requires -a bachelor's degree in
accounting or finance MBA a plus CTP (Certified Treasury
Professional) or APRP (Accredited Payments Risk Professional)
designation a plus knowledge commensurate with 3-8 years of
banking, payments, and/or fintech experience strong knowledge of
Excel, Microsoft Word, analytical experience, and PC skills
required, advanced knowledge of Excel preferred Enhance your
